A week ago I handed in my (finished!) assignment. All 6,243 words of it. I did it!!

There were points when I never thought I'd finish it, but in the end I did, a week or so before it was due in. Now I just have to start thinking about the other 6,000 words, which I need to get done in and around my first placement.

I'm in school after Christmas for 6 weeks, so it'll be first chance to be a 'real teacher'. I've spent 6 days in school already, so know the kids pretty well, and have taught parts of lessons, and small group lessons already. I'm looking forward to getting 'stuck in', although I'm a little nervous too, with the predictable voices in my head saying 'what if I'm no good at this?!' 'what if i cant' keep up with the work?!' 'what if my lessons are all too short/long'. But it's my first placement, I'm still very much learning... and to be honest, I can't wait to be in school full time!
