I found out something rather exciting today....

Tennis World Number 1 Roger Federer was born on the same day as me - 8th August 1981!

Hoe cool is that??!

Life's good. I haven't been updating my 'main' weblog much lately as my life has been taken over by my PGCE placement - hence the post over on the 'pgce weblog'. I'm genuinely having a great time, and am really enjoying it despite the hellish workload. There really is nothing better (work-wise) than being in a classroom... it's just so much more exciting and unpredictable than working in an office, or anywhere else. The children are constantly surprising me and making me laugh - i'm going to miss 'my' class so much when I head back to uni in 3 weeks...

Is it April Fools Day?!?

Saturday, January 07, 2006

Today Ben and I celebrated our 2 1/2 year anniversary, and the 1st anniversary of buying our house. :)

Well, by celebrating it, I mean I spent the whole day planning lessons, whilst Ben lay on the floor in front of final fantasy x...!!

6 months today I will lose my unmarried identity, and become a Mrs. Wow. :)

Just wanted to wish everyone out in blog-land a very Happy New Year!

After our Guildford party plans were scupped due to snow in Kent (don't ask!) Ben and I ended up spending New Year's Eve at home on our own. It was really nice. :) At midnight we could see literally over 15 fireworks displays from the front of our house, and they were amazing. It was tipping it down with rain, so i was especially impressed.

Christmas good - we spent 3 days with my family (including Christmas day) and 3 with Ben's. We took Toby and Sammie with us (Toby's cage just fits in the back seat of the car) and they were amazing, charming everyone. Toby was especially wonderful, sussing out the arrangement of both houses perfectly. He even got into the habit of standing by the living room door (in both parents' houses) when he wanted someone to open it so he could go back to his cage and have a wee. We have a very clever bunny!

I'm back to school on Tuesday, for some 'proper' teaching, which is pretty exciting. I'm going to update my PGCE weblog, then get on with some lesson planning!
