After spending 40 hours in work over the bank holiday (impressed?!) i'm back today and in rather good spirits due to the end of Guide to Life. I've really enjoyed laying it up, but sometimes I could have done with going home before 3am!! It's be online in the near future, so I'll pop a link up here when I can.
I've been writing in my Union weblog quite a lot recently, and I think people are actually looking at it, even though it's pretty hidden away on the Union website.
Ben's still awy in Cornwall and I really miss him. We've talked several times a day, so that's helping a lot, but I still really can't wait to see him again on Friday. It's crazy, missing someone like this... but it's a nice kind of crazy. :)

I just glanced at my weblog and saw I hadn't written for over a week - this past week has absolutely shot by! I've spent the majority of my time working on the Guide to Life, and it looks as though i'll be here over the weekend getting it finished.
I'm enjoying doing it, but I can't wait til it's over and I can really start to concentrate on things like barefacts, which really needs a lot of brain power for a good few days!
Ben's toddled off to Cornwall for a week now, and I'm already missing him. Ah well, you know what they say about absence... :)

The computers on the Union staff/sabb network have got a virus. Yay. Just what I need when I'm laying up the biggest publication of the year!

One exciting this week has been the arrival of our sabbatical merchandise... so if you see someone wandering around campus in a purple polo shirt of brightly coloured hoodie with "Communications & Marketing", "President", "Sport", "Education & Welfare" or "Societies & Culture" on the back - that'd be one of the sabbs! The tops really are pretty groovy.
This week I'm blitzing the Guide to Life, which has to be finished in the next 10 days or so. And I thought I was finished with deadlines when I graduated! I'm on the comms leaflet at the moment, which I assumed would be pretty quick to do, since it's my 'thing' - however, it's taking longer than I anicipated, partly due to the fact I'm still getting used to corel draw/paint, which I use for image editing.
Looks like i'll be doing some late nighers pretty soon.
Tonight Ben and I are off to his Auntie's to have tea with her and Ben's parents - it'll be nice to get out of Guildford and to see them. Things are going amazingly on that front. He's an absolute star and I'm a very very very lucky girl. :)

I'm up in London at the moment on an NUS training event called 'Participate and Develop'. It's proving to be pretty interesting and informative, and I've picked up several ideas from other sabbs from around the country. The weather's been sweltering (as I guess it has everywhere), but luckily the training rooms have air conditioning... the same can't be said for our bedrooms though...
On Sunday I got back from 5 days in Torquay with Ben. We had a really great time, and it was very sad to leave. I'm missing him quite a lot whilst up here, but it's only for a few days, and I'll back in a couple of days to celebrate my 22nd Birthday on Friday! :D
Oh yes, and I just want to say.... thank goodness for o2 mobile email!! ;)
