Started teaching my new class last Wednesday and overall I'm having a great time. They're a real bunch of charactersm, but we're getting along really well and I can already see them making huge jumps of progress in maths and English, which is great. I've introduced some new routines which are working really well, and I'm really enjoying myself.
However I am absolutely bloody knackered, and could really do with the weather forecast improving, so I don't have to deal with 26 post-wet-play ten year olds for another 3 days...!

Hey, how's it going? Glad you've enjoyed the first few days. Did you get better weather in the end?
We've just heard that we have Ofsted this week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, so school has descended into a frantic cloud of planning, tidying, assessing and marking! It's crazy. Still, I'm glad we're getting it out of the way now so that we can enjoy the rest of the year!
