Last night's first rehearsal of West Side Story went pretty well... although I'm having a bit of an identity crisis. I'm playing a tomboy who wants to be in the jets gang... so whenever they call 'girls' for rehearsals I'm not needed (not in any of the 'girlie' scenes like 'America') yet some of the time (not all!) that they call 'boys', I am needed! It's already starting to confuse me, and I could easily miss rehearsals if I'm not on the ball...

I wonder how long before the Director and MD are fed up with me asking "do you need me for that one"...?!
