icklesarah.co.uk has been having issues.

For some reason, everything on the main page would load.... until you hit the word 'archive'. After that, all you could see was 'arch' and lots of white space. I tried all sorts of things, including uploading the whole blog (took ages!) but nothing worked.

So just now, I changed the word 'archive' to 'archipoo', uploaded it again - and voila, my website is back! Very strange. 'Archipoo' is now safely back as 'archive' and all still appears well. Very strange.

I'm thinking it's time for an overhaul - all the PGCE question/links etc stuff on here went up before I even started teacher training, and almost two years on, I think it's time for those sections especially to be revamped.

And on other news... life's good. I have a job from January teaching a great Year 5 class in a school a 5 minute walk from our house. If you'd asked me 1 or 2 years ago what I wanted to do when I finished my PGCE, I'd have said "teach year 5 in a school very close to home". I'm incredibly lucky to have got what i wished for, and I feel my decision to hold back and only apply for a job I really really wanted has been vindicated. I'm very happy.
