I've just got my payslip for the month and guess what.... I got a tax rebate! They've been taking too much off me for the past few months, until I got my new tax code, so that was a nice surprise.

However, putting a bit of a damper on it is the fact I have to pay my accommodation fees next week.... several hundred pouds of them. That's gonna knock me right back towards my overdraft again... oh the fun of being an overworked and unpaid sabb!

Things at work are going pretty well, though I am horribly busy having to work up to 18 hours a day, and having to deal with a few people who are making life kinda hard! Ah well. The Union Exec elections are in full flow now - 9 people standing, which is very very cool - more than have done in a long while. A couple of my friends are standing for positions.... but I'm an old elections pro and I know the rules - no mentioning them or campaigning until Tuesday!! :)

I've been rather slack at keeping this thing up to date, and our Union weblogs have broken, which is rather annoying. I guess it's just a repection on how crazily busy i've been. Well, Freshers' Week is almost over, and I'm absolutely knackered. Roll on the weekend!
