Last night I went out with Sam, Neil, John, Taj, Anthea and Jo for Sam's 22nd birthday. We went to RSVP for £1 vodka and mixer, then on to good old reliably cheap Weatherspoons. It was a great night, and it was great to spend time with some people I haven't seen so much of recently. I'm very lucky to have several really close friendship groups - last night it was good to get away from things and spend time with other people.

The last couple of days have really illustrated the complicated situations which can come about through living in such close proximity to all your friends. I am very glad it's the holiday, although most of my friends are here for the majority of the time, so we're all not really getting much of a break.

I'm going up to Derby on Thursday to stay with my Granny for a few days, which should be good fun. I love spending time with her, and I can't wait to spend a few days out of Guildford, before getting down to some hardcore work, and attempting to pass this degree thing.
