It's the end of the holidays, yet it feels like term has been going for at least two weeks already. I suppose being around on campus is what does it - I've been popping down to the Union, doing work, writing before barefacts, all like it's termtime. The only things that have been missing are rehearsals, lectures... and practice :( I did quite a lot of violin when I was at home, but everything else has taken over recently and I really haven't been very productive. Need to get down to PATS, get that violin out, and make some progress on the recital front... Oh, and a small matter of a solo performance in the first week as well....

It's our first Roast Dinner of the semester today, and I can't wait. Paul is away at jessie's 21st this weekend, so he might not be able to make it back in time, but fingers crossed... and Ian and Rachel are getting back to Guildford at about 4pm, so they'll be just in time. I really can't wait to see them again, although it doesn't feel like a month since they were last here. I can't believe it's so long ago - the holidays has shot by.

I've currently got two loads of washing in the driers at the launderette... fingures i'd take advantage of the near emptyness of it and get everything done, even bed sheets and dressing gown, aren't I a good girl! They really need a change machine in there though - it's flippin' annpying having to trundle down to the Union every time you need to wash some clothes! And on top of that, I only had a tenner in my wallet... consequently I now have rather a lot of £1 coins and 20ps in there!

I can see lots of students coming moving back in, outside my window. Strange to think I've already been back for 3 weeks. But it has been vaguely productive, which is good... speaking of which, I really must get on with those barefacts articles.... :)
