HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Last night's New Year party was absolutely crazy, and I am still recovering. We had a cocktail party on our floor, with me, Neil, John, Sam, Steph, Jo, Taj, Amanda, Martin and Tom and I had the best night in a long long time. We started at around 7pm, and the last person didn't leave until about 6am. We made some punch from cider, red wine, white wine, brandy, whiskey, gin, vodka and lemonade, and it was LETHAL. It's zapped my memory of certain parts of the night, but luckily has only left me feeling a little detached today, not really hungover. It was so amazing to spend New Year with some of my very good friends - despite the fact I'm not doing drama this year, MaD Soc has certainly given me some of the best friends ever over the past 3 1/2 years. I'm meant to be giving John violin lessons this holiday so he can mime convincingly for Fame, so that's going to be funny! Hopefully i'll be able to spend some more time with him over the holiday, as we've both been so busy over the past semester, and I don't want us to drift apart.

It's really nice only really having Neil and me on the floor at the moment - somewhat calming after the last 13 weeks with my mad housemates. it feels a bit like it did at the beginning of term before the Freshers moved in - long may it last!

I'm going to go to bed soon, and get a good night's sleep before Adam arrives back in Guildford tomorrow. I need to start getting some work done - so much for the holiday!
