Phew, things have been crazy over the past few days. Where shall I start?!

Friday night - the infamous Drag and Fetish Night - was stunning. Probably the best night out so far this term - costumes were fantastic, might good, company amazing. I pre Unioned with Adam, Ian, Wrighty, Neil and Jo, before going to the Union at about 10.30pm. The rest of the night was taken up with acquiring 39 free condoms from the condom man, taking 99 photos with my new digital camera (they'll be online as soon as we can overcome some "technical defficulties" at icklesarah.co.uk HQ) and talking to so many people. It was, overall, an amazing night out.

Saturday saw the long planned "Road Trip" with Adam, Ian and Rachel. We visited Bluewater during the day (first time), then went to the fireworks in Edenbridge in the evening (my first proper fireworks display), which were VERY impressive. Then after my first night in a double bed with someone I'm going out with (it was a weekend of firsts)! We came back to Guildford early on Sunday, and at midday Adam's parents came to visit, which was nice. We went for lunch in the Wooden Bridge (mmm), to visit his Auntie and Uncle, then came the evening, which is, of course, Roast Dinner time! We varied the vegetables a bit this week, but they were still gorgeous. I LOVE ROASTS!

And so to the present. Yesterday was mostly taken up with lectures, Barefacts writing, and a rehearsal til 10pm for a concert on Saturday. Today I had one rehearsal, then went down to the Communications Centre to help layup and write for Barefacts - part of my new job as Deputy Editor! I'm really excited. I'm loving doing all this Barefacts stuff - writing, laying up and editing. I've written about 6 things for this week's paper, and done stuff with the film and professional pages. It's groovy. I would like to stand for election for the Comms and Marketing Sabbattical next year, though I think Chris wants to too, and we always said we could never stand against each other. Hmmm... The funny thing is, when I initially said I was considering Societies Sabb, he said he wanted that too! Hmm... I hope we can work something out, cos I really want to do this.

And so, after 8 hours doing Barefatcs, I'm back home. I need to get some degree work done, but everything else is just so much more appealing at the moment. Who would have guessed that stopping drama and "deciding to do mroe other stuff" this year could lead to all this! I'm having fun. :o)
